Instructions for new Oberseminars

You want to organize your own Oberseminar? No problem – just keep in mind the following points and go ahead!

• Ask the responsible person to book a room for you.
• Ask Janina Kirsch (janina.kirsch(at)biologie.uni-freiburg.de) to include your seminar in the ‚Vorlesungsverzeichnis‘, so that every interested person can learn about this event. The following information should be provided:
  • Topic of the seminar
  • Contact person
  • Time and place
  • Requirements – if wanted
  • Registration can easily be done via mailing to the organizer.
  • To assign speakers to the seminar dates, an online document proved to be helpful.
  • If you want to hand out official certificates (from the faculty of biology), ask a professor (or other teacher) of the faculty to take over the official responsibility - and to sign the certificates (an example of such a certificate is attached).
  • Consider that participants who are graduate school members might need a certificate that meets the requirements of the particular graduate school.
